Keeping Sabbath

And the effect of righteousness will be peace,

and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever.

Isaiah 32:17

These are very dark times.

I am frightened for what is to come.

I am choosing carefully who I will walk beside.

Now is a time when we must work for righteousness

-true righteousness and love toward one another

There is enough darkness and hatred in this world

I cannot work toward righteousness without taking a stand against it.

  1. So much meaning in that verse. Righteousness….root word…right. I like how you say you choose who to walk beside. Such troubling times, and such troubling worries about how to know when to stand. You mirror what I’ve been thinking…the Bible says in some scriptures to not continue the discourse by our words to keep it going, but I feel by my not saying things that it seems that I agree. So hard, but trying to really use my discernment. Great thought provoking Scripture you share today…thanks. And also thanks for visiting me.
